October 22, 2024 by Qidi Lin and Tiffany Wong

On October 17, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting a Minhwa (Korean Folk Art) Workshop, which turned out to be a truly memorable and inspiring event. The workshop saw an incredible turnout, with participants from various backgrounds gathering to explore and celebrate the traditional art of Minhwa. With a full house of enthusiastic participants, the workshop brought together a wonderful community eager to immerse themselves in the beauty of traditional Korean art.

Generously sponsored by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Toronto, each participant was provided with a specially curated Minhwa colouring kit, enabling them to create their own unique masterpieces. The kits, filled with beautiful designs and materials, were the foundation for a truly memorable afternoon of creativity. As participants began working on their pieces, the room quickly filled with a sense of focus, creativity, and passion.
